FIA President Jean Todt honored the 2018 Middle East Rally Champions (MERC) at prize giving ceremony organized by ATCL in Beirut. Nasser Al Kuwari crowned recently with MERC 2 co-drivers champions for the second year in the row. He finished 2018 Qatar International Rally on Podium along with Qatar’s Abdullah Al Kuwari after clinched the title in Kuwait.

Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah won his 14th Middle East Rally Championship with a record number of titles for one driver at the longest racing championship in the region.

This is the first time that the President of the FIA has honored the seasoned champions of the Middle East Rally Championship, which was created 35 years ago.
