QATAR’S MOHAMMED AL-MANNAI CLAIMS VICTORY IN LAST OF THE NATIONAL BAJAS
LOSAIL (QATAR): Qatar’s Mohammed Al-Mannai and navigator Kamal Khoder won the fourth of the one-day National Bajas, held in conjunction with the Qatar Cross-Country Rally on Saturday.
The Chevrolet Buggy driver clocked a time of 1hr 23min 20sec through the 132.69km route from a start near Al-Zubara and a desert route down Qatar’s west coast.
Saudi Arabia’s Ibrahim Al-Muhanna finished second in a Nissan Patrol and Qatar’s Mohammed Al-Harqan was third.
Saudi Arabia’s Abdulmajeed Al-Khluaifi clinched victory in the motorcycle and quad section on his Yamaha. The former winner of the Ha’il event finished six seconds in front of Abu Dhabi’s Mohammed Al-Balooshi
